Giving a Fresh Twist to Your Web Content

There are several ways to freshen up your web content, ultimately helping you obtain increased site traffic, leads, and conversions. Relook at old web content, not just your blog posts but your e-books too. Often core content is still relevant but just needs modifications before being republished as new. However for your most popular blog posts, update the content but use the same URL to retain its inherent SEO value, as any internet marketing firm will advise. Check if your blogging platform lets you keep the same URL if you change the post’s publish date. Also look at ways to promote older content that does not need updating.  This will be ‘fresh’ for new followers on your social media accounts and new subscribers to your blog. If you have published articles elsewhere as a guest blogger, check with these blog owners if they will agree to you publishing the same content on your blog too. Many will consent if you also state that it was first published on their blog and include a link back to the original article. Utilize your blog posts to inspire an e-book and vice versa. This is a winning strategy when facing a looming deadline and also a great way to market your e-book once more. If you have participated in live webinars in your vertical, obtain recordings and post them on an archived landing page so that followers who missed them live can still access them.  You can also convert webinar content into text and publish it as an e-book.
